Painting Becca's Room

Erin was here visiting a couple of weekends ago, and we painted Becca's room while she was here. Becca took a nap while we painted, but when she woke up, she wanted to help, so here is Becca putting the last finishing touches on her room.














And after she had painted a while, I told her the paint needed to dry. Well, Becca immediately insisted on getting the blow dryer, because she know that's what we need to dry things!

Every little boy's dream

What's the best part of the new house, you ask? Well, I think little Michael would argue that the best part is the two empty lots next door to us, and right outside his window. The farther of the two lots has a house being built right now, and little Michael can frequently be found - well - like this:

Well everyone keeps bugging me for house pics, so I'll try to put some up as I get rooms done.

Lucy our Labrador

Please meet the newest member of our family - Lucy. Lucy is 10 weeks old. and has been with us for about 2 weeks. We love her and she is really fun. Of course, we are working on house training and teaching her that children's ankles are not chew toys, but those things were expected.

Bedtime Stories

Becca likes us to read her bedtime stories, and recently, she has started reading them to us. You see, she has a little book of 6 or 7 nursery rhymes, and after we read them to her for awhile, she started "reading" them to us. Here are a couple clips of her "reading".
